Self-taught and endlessly curious, Kathryn is an artist and photographer from Northern Michigan who weaves together two passions (painting and photography) into her creative journey. Her bold, vibrant acrylics often lean into realism, capturing the raw beauty of nature, animals, and local surroundings, while her photography offers a parallel lens, reframing those same themes with striking perspective.

From sketching and ceramics in high school, to the evolving mastery of brush and camera, Kathryn’s artistry has been shaped not by formal training, but by dedication, experimentation, and an insatiable love for expression.
